"We toured a lot of daycares to find the right place for our daughter, Annika, before finding Ellen. After meeting with her, my husband and I immediately knew that we wanted Ellen taking care of our daughter while we are at work. Unfortunately, Ellen did not have opening when we needed one, so we brought Annika to a daycare center for a few months first. At the daycare center, we'd walk in at the end of the day to a depressing room full of crying babies and get a lackluster summary of what she did, which I'm certain was exactly the same for the other six babies in the room. After we switched to Ellen's, we'd arrive to see kids sitting in a circle singing songs or playing nicely together, bigger kids helping smaller kids. I have no idea how Ellen and Jane keep ten children so calm, engaged, attentive, and happy, but their kindness and patience is amazing. She come up with fun, varied activities and I'm so impressed with how much Annika has learned in the past two years. There have been countless times that Annika came home doing or saying something new that we never even considered teaching her. They are also willing to use cloth diapers and are very supportive during potty training. At the end of each day, we get an email with a summary of what Annika did (potty, diapers, eating, napping, etc.) along with pictures and videos of some of their activities. "

"Our daughter, Emmelyn, has been with Ellen for 2 years now and she, and us, could not be happier! Everyday that we tell her it's an Ellen-Jane's house (as she refers to it) day, she quickly hops out of bed. When looking for a daycare, our biggest priorities were that our children be happy and safe. However, at Ellen's, its been that and more. Emme spends the care ride home (and following week!) singing songs, telling us about activities, and talking about kids. It's obvious that not only is she happy and safe, but she's learning so much! Ellen has also been very accommodating and flexible with the ever-changing schedule craziness of two working parents. We have recently moved out of the area but are so pleased with our experience at Ellen's that we continue to send Emme; it's worth the drive! Additionally, we are going on to round two and will be sending our 4 month old son there! We are grateful to have found Ellen and the warmth, comfort, and love that she gives our children

"Our daughter, Dakota (2 ½) has been attending Ellen's for about the last year and a half. We cannot say enough good things about the care Ellen provides to our daughter. Every parents hopes that when we cannot be with our child(s) that we know they are getting such wonderful care. Ellen and Jane form such a wonderful relationship with each child. She gets so excited as we get close to arriving at Ellen's and cannot wait to get there. There would be times on our way home after pick-up that she would tell us she wants to sleep at Ellen's. She just has such a good time that she did not want to leave. Ellen does a great job organizing engaging activities that work on the children's development. Dakota learned a lot during her time at Ellen's. What we also liked about her care is the amount she takes the kids outside (weather permitting). Our daughter loves the outdoor. You will be happy to send your child to Ellen's! "

"Ellen has the most loving daycare--we were so happy to have had our son there. She and Jane are so warm and thoughtful, we instantly felt comfortable there as they helped our young son make the transition to a new space. He loved the daily activities, music, and sensory and outdoor play, and we were so glad to know he was engaged, making friends, and having fun. Every morning when I woke him up he'd ask if he would be going to "Ellen's house." And in the beginning of our time there, we were especially glad to be able to check in on his daily activities through Baby Connect. I highly recommend Ellen's daycare!"

"I cannot recommend Ellen and Jane more highly. They are wonderful, their facility (Ellen's home) is amazing. While my children were in her care she renovated the space so that there is an exclusive entrance for the daycare portion of her home and plenty of open space for different kinds of play. Areas specifically for crafts, active play, and baby play. A room for naps, a separate space for eating and access to the outdoors. She has a makeshift playground in her yard as well as grassy space and a long driveway, very far back from the main road, where the kids can play on trikes and similar. All this for the children without going into Ellen's living space. It's really like a center facility with the care and homey attention of a homebased daycare. My children stayed in her care as long as they could (both aged out to preschool). They loved her and still remember and mention Ellen and Jane from time to time two years after leaving her care. We've even gone back to visit and that was lovely for the kids. We received photos and videos of the wonderful activities of all sorts they did everyday. We knew they were safe, engaged, and (dare I say) loved whenever they were there. I didn't have to worry. If you can get into this daycare, SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE. You will not regret it and you will feel lucky and blessed to have discovered Ellen."
